Jeffery Campbell. Lita

Ahh the B-E-A-UTIFUL Lita. These shoes seem to be sweeping the US online stores, Tumbr and Lookbook by storm. The world-wide-fashion-web is overflowing with girl's individual take on them. With such a range of colours and patterns you can easily make your pair personal to your style. From American flag and fur covered to classic black leather, he really has done it all. Kudos Mr Cambpbell, for kitting us out with a pair of shoes to last the eras.

Must try and re-create this last look, major summer festival vibes. Love it! <3

Menswear. Part 1

I don't want to have to put the whole of menswear into one post because just imagine if a man did one post on womenswear thinking that was broad as it got, it would be an outrage, so don't fret, this is just the start of many menswear posts to come.

How brilliant are all these different styles of jackets, the colours and details are so unique. And who said men don't get as much clothing choice as women! ;)

Check out the tie!                    The Linen suit has the perfect amount
of cool and casual for Summer.

These are the two most exciting pieces I have seen on men in a long time. Marc Jacobs' Zoro-like mask is just genius and really stands out against his simple shirt and jacket. Could he be any more brilliant?

The final picture I didn't quite understand when I first saw it, but then I realized that its actually a noose! How cool and controversial is that! If wearing a noose neck tie with your work wear doesn't put a message across through clothing then I don't know what does. Absolutely fabulous.

Style inspiration

Some of the shops that pop up along the sides of blogs are just amazing, like this one, Nasty girl. The clothes (especially in this shoot) are so unique and just have this holiday bohemian chilled chic vibe to them that top designers kind of leave behind when creating an elaborate couture collection. I guess some times less IS actually more, if its sunny that is ;) xoxo

Am-ail-zing (beware of bad pun)

Sorry I've been really boring and haven't posted anything in ages but with GCSE's in a few months things are starting to get pretty hectic! However I had to share this video with you I found on the Topshop blog, Insideout. Its an awesome new idea to spice up your nails for summer which basically involves throwing a few drops of your favourite nail varnish colours into a bowl of water, letting the different colours swirl into one another, dipping your nail beneath the varnish, leaving it to settle and then taking it out the water. This creates a beautiful, marble-like pop colour effect. Sound complicated? Not what so ever. Just go and grab a bowl of water, your favourite nail varnishes and a bit of tissue. Watch the video for the walkthrough, good luck! xoxo

A fashion underworld

OMG I can only imagine the tension that built before the start of this show. Whoever the set designer is should get like an award or something because this is incredible. It almost looks like the world has come to an end but Karl shows that there is still beauty even amongst devastation.  As Coco once said "fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." Its not just about the clothes, fashion can be seen anywhere even amongst what can look like
nothing. To me the set of a show is almost as important as the collection as it says what the clothes represent and the ideas behind them at the same time making the show more memorable.

My favourite items of the A/W 11 have to be the two little coloured blazers as they are just classic and the boots in the third picture. Oh the idea of owning Chanel boots.. well we can dream.  P.S make the pictures bigger by clicking on them as they look so much better blown up! xoxo

A few looks that really stood out to me...

Emma Roberts was by far my best dressed guest of the night. This Chanel dress looks beautiful on her. The fresh icy blue really contrasts with the black coal covered surrounding, only making her stand out more in all that amazing-ness. However she was totally flirting with my boyfriend Chace Crawford (or soon to be/imaginary boyfriend). I even read that at a different event recently her dress accidentally became a little revealing so he went and got her some special tape off his female friend to save the day. Pfft never done that for me Chace... ;)
